Very pretty flowers. I think it would have been better with just the roses though or perhaps instead of the pink carnation, an pink rose. The carnation seems out of place in the shot. This was a lighting challenge and you got that right on.

Terrific! The colors are beautiful. Great detail in the shell. Don't know what the object is behind the shell though -- that could be just because I don't get out much. I would loveto see this photo with only the beautiful shell but it works this way.

Murano Glass Vase

10 - nothing else to say. joanns -- ok, I'll say something. I love the vase, the curves in it are wonderful. The colors are supurb, like a beautiful soft flower. Then there's the shadow cast by the vase and your light source. It's wonderful. The exposure you used (would like to know your settings) makes the vase soft, muted yet still incredible colors. The surface you used looks like marble -- its a wonderful choice and finally, your placement of the object is perfection. Thank you!
