I really think this shot is wonderful. Your dof is excellent, especially through the foggy setting. The allignment of the statues, lights, and church have a nice symmetry. The use of color, being muted by the fog, modifies the whole photo.

As with the other comments, I think your photo met the challenge well and you should be quite proud of this work.

I look forward to future shots from you.

First the meets challenge well. Mary is a significant sacred lady of Christian faith and this site maybe used for pray/meditation.

The use of B&W works well on this subject. The light on white marble and shading is very good, and modified by the dark back ground and flowers in the foregraound are nice. The dof is right on.

The main downfall is where she is located on the shot. If you would have moved to the right, you could have removed the vertical wall and she wouldn't be looking off the photo but to the center.

Otherwise this is a great shot and I hope this helps a bit.

Good interpretation, not sure where my eye is supposed to go. Re-arranging the items may have increased the effect of the shot.
