One Stick at a time by hahn23Comment: Beautiful capture. Well deserved ribbon too. Wondering why nest building this late in the summer? My guess a bird not quite adult and attempting to try/practice for next year. |

Stephenson's Rocketby p2jvrComment: Hi John,
I've been gone for several weeks and was glad France lost. I also hate soccer, but that another story. So here is my belated review.
My 8 year old son is a railroad buff. So seeing the shot of the Rocket was great.
Review:
I really like the subject. Historic trains are wonderful to shoot. They just do not make things so beautiful any more.
The colors are right on. A bit more yellow added in select color might increase them and to add some more black would make the shot a wow for sure. The contrasts, sharpness, and dof are perfect.
Being that the Rocket is in side, you can't do anything with the back ground unless you blur it or burn it. But that's not important.
As a whole your Rocket shot is wonderful and I like it very much.
Best wishes and keep shooting the fun stuff.
