Very nice. Bug, flower, water - should place very high! Love the way the colors 'pop', and the details are fantastic. The title just cracks me up! The lighting is maybe a touch harsh, but overall it's a really good photo.

L'abricot

This looks like it was maybe shot on a light box - there's a bit of glare at the stem end of the apricot that is really noticeable. The highlights on the apricot (that are from the other light source) are a bit blown. The border does not work too well with this - it feels too 'heavy' for the subject. On a positive note, I love the color of the fruit, and the subject placement is very nice.

Love the colors and the detail, but there's something about the composition that doesn't work too well for me. It sorta looks like the beetle and shell are going to fall out of the picture. Don't know how else to phrase that, but it's kinda optically disturbing to me.

Beautiful flower. Focus seems a little soft, which doesn't work too well for me in a macro-type challenge. Love the composition, though, and the colors are quite good.
