This is beautiful. I LOVE the unusual viewpoint and composition of this. Wonderful choice of angle for this shot. I also like that I can still see the texture on the larger petals, even though they are not the main 'focus' of the shot.

I like everything about this gorgeous abstract except the border. It's overwhelmingly wide. I'd prefer either no border, or a much narrower one. This one seems to intrude upon the pic.

Um, this is a little weird. Not sure I care for it, but I guess that's not really the point.
The transition between 'lips' and 'petals' is really well done, and the colors and lighting are good, and the concept is quite original.
I just don't care for it too much.
Scoring for technicals and originality - 9.
Scoring for appeal (to me) - 4.
Overall - 7.
