Good subject for desat, but you seem to have a little haloing around his comb, and the crop could stand to be a little tighter on the right and at the top.The crispness of the feathers is very nice, though, as is the OOF background.

The concept of this is wonderful, and I think the desat really works well here. What bothers me, though, is that the background is so very grainy, while she is not. It throws the pic off for me.

I'm not sure I 'get' this photo. Her expression and pose do not signify 'hate' or even mild anger to me. Rather, she looks bored. The lighting is quite harsh, and the background somewhat intrusive. A diffuser between the girl and the sun would soften the light, and a change in background (or using a shallower depth of field) would help with the background.

Very busy - does not seem to have a defined subject. Also, not sure I can see a 'point' to the desat. I think a single spray of lilac might have worked better for this idea, as the profusion of flowers shown overwhelms the concept as defined by the title.

Quite pretty, but I feel that with the eye partially desaturated it is missing something. Love the angle though, and the way the wings kind of 'vanish' both toward and away from you.

A little 'in your face' for me (I prefer more subtlety with nude photos, both with lighting and presentation). Good concept, though, and I like how you've retained the color and texture of the apple.
