Wisteri-eyedby enticingComment: Seems overprocessed. Would have liked less brightness. Contrast seems fine. |

Kowhai, Virginia Lake, Wanganuiby kiwinickComment: Nice composition. Leaves are well processed, but the branch shows little detail. Would have liked to see a better texture on the branch. Maybe a bit closer would have improved that detail. |

Judicial Branch - U.S. Supreme Courtby modurnComment: Very flat on the highlights. Needs better light. Perhaps an exposure compensation by a step would have brought out the contrast between darks and lights better. |

The branch that feedsby cabaComment: I loved this shot. I have never seen such a naturally occuring composition. The uniqueness is what got me at first. More dodge around the center to lighten up the dark area, and just a little more focus. Still, I give it a 9 |

Reaching for the Sunby fstopopenComment: Flares can be used creatively to enhance and frame subjects. I like the flares around the tree branch, but as they get closer to the foreground they start to distract my eye. Since I am not sure how you could have angled the camera to get rid of some of the flares, I have no advice. It is definitely a shot worth doing over and over to perfect just the right amount of flare for the subject. |

Branch of Jao He (River Jao)by yansermcComment: Cropping out the background would have really brought this shot out. As it is the buildings really take away from the water and the motorcycle. |
