xtra vision mirrorby clictacameraComment: When a reflection becomes the main subject of the composition, it needs to be really focused. This needed a stabilizer of some sort, perhaps a tripod, to get a nice clear image. Could have been an awesome shot. |

Not So Hot Now!by DustyComment: Nice lighting and the black background was a good choice. Just not liking the use of this cup. Maybe another item would have done more for me. Great focus though, and your technique is solid. |

Mounds of Groundsby sappleComment: Needed to be more focused. Also, didn't think the sunset worked well with the grounds. |

Clouds in my Coffeeby CarmelynnComment: I suppose that this is a picture of what you saw from the vantage of the coffee shop? Anyway, there are so many forces calling for your attention, that it leaves the eye confused as to what to look at, and why. Overall, I really can't find a strength in the picture. The writing seems to be pretty clear, but I think that I see any real reason for this picture. Not to worry. There are many 100's of subjects that will really show your ability as a photographer, just not this one. Better luck with the next challenge. |

A Coffee-Drinking Patron!by neehaiComment: Felt the lights were too distracting. I think a better light, perhaps flash covered with a handkerchief, would have improved the subject of the person in the corner. |

Magic coffeeby greslizzzComment: It is really hard to get the coffee dripping into the pot. I know, I have tried and not succeeded yet. I don't think this one does either. Wondering if lighting from the bottom might work better. Anyway, I am still trying to find just the right balance of light to depict the brewing of coffee. So it is worth trying again and again for that really great lighting that will show it precisely. |

Triple Shot?by NaldComment: Not liking this one very much. The expression on the model is not attractive, and I must be stupid but am not sure the significance to the composition of the skull and crossbones. The focus is excellent, though, and the colors and lighting are very good. |

Standing at the Readyby hysmorComment: When I looked at the picture, I thought how much the handles looked like ears listening. Nice use of descending composition, but I think it might have worked better if where the handles ended you put the pot. The writing on whatever that far subject is isn't clear enough to give me any idea what you were trying to frame with the handles. |
