One Way Outby CEJComment: Applying a noise reducing program such as neat image would have gotten rid of much of the gray speckling, called noise, which is rampant in this image. I would like to see it much smoother. I do like the contrast of light and shadow on this one, and you did a very nice compositional direction with the cube. |

Dead End ... for a foxby FalcComment: Beautiful saturation. The sky also is smooth and without noise. The horse is perfectly placed to contrast against the sky. All in all a very good photo. |

Keep Out!by parrotheadComment: This was so well done. I loved the texture that the screen added, and the expression on the kitten is humorously mad. Great job. |

The Last Mileby phatphotoComment: The concept of this one is wonderful. Felt it needed more contrast, perhaps some more saturation, and it was a bit fuzzy. Nice idea, though. |

DVD Garbage: Good Looking Uselessnessby seebrownComment: Loved this image. Nice rainbow effect. For me, thought, I do not see the connection to garbage. For the single light source challenge, I would give this one a 10, but as a garbage photo I have to bring it down to a 7 |

Washed Up Balloonby incubusComment: The balloon didn't take up enough of the image. It also doesn't look like a balloon. Compositionally, you set the frame very nicely. It does appear a little too dark, though. As to the best composition, since the challenge was garbage, you need to show that better in your image. A nice cropping to leave the balloon and part of the wave would have been better. If that was too out of focus when enlarged, a shot or two at a closer vantage point would have given you a better choice of which image would have worked best. |

DisAdvantixby TrollManComment: Beautiful background. I think that the film was added just to meet the challenge. I hope you have this image without the film canister. That really wrecked it for me. |

Smokers Lifeby AkashaComment: I am sure you have already been told that the image did not fill the frame. Beyond that, it was badly focused, and you should try to remove the date which appears in the lower left before submitting. These are all things that can be remedied as you take more pictures. The mistakes will become less and less, then you have to deal with things like composition, subject attractiveness, and all those variables which people vote on. |

Reflections of an Onion Skinby sfaliceComment: This was a really great reflection. I loved the blue background and its contrast to the onion skin. Lighting was very good as well. 10 |
