Built on a Rockby harmsusmcComment: Nice sky. Foreground is very dark, though. You can adjust its exposure by extracting that part and increasing brightness, as well as doing a bit of dodging. The other choice is to not have so much foreground, since its insertion into the composition (and at such a large amount0 should be better exposed. |

Long Road Homeby SDWComment: Found subject to be uninteresting, though your leading lines give it some strength. They aren't leading anywhere, though, so when you use that as a compositional technique you need to have a point of reference where the lines are leading the eye. |

Days Gone Byby msdoubletroubleComment: Image seems very digitized. Not sure if it is because subject was far away and you tried to crop, but details are very dotted. I used an Olympus D550z last year, and for some reason something happened in the file sizes and most of my images started coming out this way. Luckily I was able to get a different camera. Nothing can be done about the problem, though often the prints come out just fine. |

Wiltered Loveby benhurComment: Dried florals are wonderful subjects, but this one seems to need more color in it. It isn't the most attractive rendering of a dried rose. Good detail on the veins in the brown area, though focus could have been sharper. |

Spider in a Shellby catholicskinComment: Not enough detail to convince me this is a spider. Minimalism is a good technique, but this may have been too small of an area to fill the frame properly. |

Fuzzy Fiveby sammigurlComment: Focus needs to be clearer and color balance is way off. If you were trying to sharpen the image by adjusting contrast, often the result is off colors in the composition. Perhaps stepping back, using an aperture of about 5 or 6, and zooming in on subject to make it get closer would clear up the focus issue. |

Evening Flightby TomComment: The glare of the sun kind of overpowers the plane on this one. It also was very dark, making the plane even harder to see. I get the idea that this may have been shot during the day but the extreme underexposure is what caused you to create the title that you did. |

Passing Trainby jacoloComment: Saturation and contrast should be stronger to separate the train more from the background. |

Twoby mkComment: Seems too dark. Bottles are good subjects but not as they are placed in this image. Need more highlights, or maybe overlaying them one behind the other, or something to add more interest. |

Trees of Knowlageby jentComment: Need better focus. There is also something wrong on the walkway. It seems to be very unevenly exposed and color seems to not match the scene all that well. Anyway, the topic needs work as well. Maybe zooming in on the columns with steps leading to them would make a better image. Trees did not add to the overall theme of the image. |
