The Edgeby andriComment: I like the idea of repetition of the stairs with the building side. Need more light on the stairs to really get the full impact of this image. |

LUCKY STRIKE SMOKESTACKby MelTech1Comment: Just don't find the subject all that great. You did a nice job on the colors, though. Also the image is tilted. You can straighten the composition to get less slant. |

Observatoryby CEJComment: Nicely composed. Color balance seems to have too much cyan, I think. Makes the sky look very greenish. Using layers and extracting the sky to color correct the building would have helped. Also it could have allowed you to add more contrast to the building without messing up the sky. |

Wave on Waveby dw_photoComment: Love these buildings. The wonderful curves give this a feeling of motion. The architect who designed this did a terrific job. |

Taking It All Inby scarbrdComment: Very good composition. For me, though, the person kind of takes away from the beauty of the reflection on the floor. Would have also liked to see more details on the pews. |

Gothamby redmoonComment: The soft treatment gives the image an almost surreal look. Very nicely done. |

Modernby BrianRComment: Neat colors on this one. Your dodging marks are noticeable on the left roofline and around the center balconies. Overall, though, a very nice geometry to the image. |

James River Postcardby SJCarterComment: Wonderful sky. On this particular image, I think the bridge upsets the balance of the composition. I know it is architecture, but you should have focused more on the bridge, and perhaps a different angle like coming at you or away from you. Need to be sharper as well. If it was taken late in the day, a tripod would be helpful to steady your camera. |

Old Red Doorby pamelasueComment: You got some wonderful details and your colors are well saturated. Composition may have been better with the completion of the arch near the top. It is not very sharp, unfortuneately. A higher shutter speed may have helped. You may have a bit of camera shake when you take the pictures. |

Lizzy the Bearded Dragon.jpgby KaizerComment: Wow, really great detail. I love the eye on this one, and the tones are just wonderful. Is it a pet? She is really beautiful. Message edited by author 2006-05-26 18:05:04. |
