Not enough of the black and white checkered flag. As a well composed image, you did a wonderful job here. It is a bit grainy in the sky, which detracts from the overall smoothness. Maybe a lower iso.

This is beautiful. Focus is really sharp and ant is nice and clear. However, it doesn't appear to be black and white. I know the ant is black, but the flower commands the eye on this one. Since many have done a wonderful job at keeping within the black and white idea, I can't in good conscience give this one a high score, though if it were entered in flowers, or spots or something it would do much better.

Depends upon if you are the one who drank it. Very good detail and exposure. No blown highlights. Maybe some noise around the label, but a nice take on the challenge.
