Outdoor Snowmanby MaryOComment: Needs some extra care to get the right amount of exposure and sharpness. I took a long exposure of a lit reindeer, and rested the camera on my knee, which really worked to keep the image in focus better, and got the lights to really pop. |

Merry Christmasby SDWComment: I love the wood toning of this one. I wish the highlight wasn't so strong, though on the angel above. I do like the strong shadow cast on the back of the stable. Don't ordinarily, but it works well with this image. |

Wet Forest Floorby OmniComment: Not a very aesthically pleasing image, though it does meet the challenge. |

House Lightsby MaryOComment: Very understated light display. I like the muted tones and the deep shadow underneath the eave. |

Crass Commercialismby MaryOComment: Yes, very cute. Nice toning and lighting on the fur. Created just enough shadow to see the nap of the fabric. Nice job. |

Christmas Rabbitby MaryOComment: What a cute little critter. Do you show him? Looks so nice and soft. I can just feel those whiskers tickling my face. |

Holiday - Day 12 - Lightsby _eugComment: It definitely needs ornaments. Do you do something different every day? We will be getting our tree tomorrow, and lights go on first, but I don't wait. Everything else goes on it on the same day. Image could be a little better exposed. I think the heavy shadow through the middle kind of makes it look a bit empty, but that is probably just me. |

Spirit of Christmasby JunieMoonComment: To Melethia:
Thanks for figuring out the photo of Spirit of Christmas. It was supposed to depict an emptiness, as well as the rush of people during the season who are so intent on empty shopping, that they can't even spend a moment viewing such scenes as this one. The sunset and the lights were just so beautiful. My choice of green highlights in the sky was also a creative endeavor to create a unique atmospheric happening that most, if not all, miss in their rushing about.
