 A house nearby which caught my eye because of the striped roof. If I were really ambitious I would have climbed a tree to get a better view of the roof, but I am not that ambitious!

Had to put the camera in manual to get the lighting and detail where I wanted it. Actually used the flash at -1 power and then increased the contrast later in PP. Now that I know which settings to use I'll have to go photograph one of the seriously over-the-top light displays around here.

Very understated light display. I like the muted tones and the deep shadow underneath the eave.
