No Exit Cityby hannkaComment: notice a lot of grain and artifacts. You must have had a very high iso in order to expose better, but it shows up a lot in this image. |

the back road homeby steveo62989Comment: like the play of shadows, but it isn't enough of a compositional strength to make the image really grab my attention. |

Great White Egretby robdocComment: After seeing the placement of this shot, I know that the voters are absolutely unable to discern great photos. This is the best one and I stand by that. I gave you a 10 and I only gave out maybe 4 for the entire challenge. You should be very proud of this shot. It is one of those shots that really bring together every aspect of photography possible. Be proud and don't be disheartened by the votes. You know in your heart this is magnificent, and I guarantee most magazines and pros would also find it so. |

SNAP !!!!!by kiwinickComment: Nice sharp image. I like the background. Makes the cards stand out even more. I would say it was most likely that the subject of the photo did not have enough interest to most voters. They probably didn't think it worked as well as many of the others in the challenge. It is not your technical skills that brought the score lower, that is for sure. |

Glass Tenticalsby karimelsahyComment: I just saw this one and I guess some of the focus may have been off enough to bring your score lower than it should be. I found the shot very interesting and I love the solid black background and the crystal sheen of the water. It looks almost like ice. It is a very good try, and perhaps a bit less overexposure and better focus would have brought it up. Try higher shutter speed which means a higher iso. Also, if you used flash, you could tone it down by adjusting the flash meter to be more fill in rather than 100% |
