A vacation trip to a back-to-nature destination by zymaraComment: Nice exposure on the snow capped mountains, but the foreground looks like the exposure was adjusted alot, which created a very flat, detailless area. I wonder if you had exposed more for the foreground, then worked on the mountain if it would have worked better. Even a nd filter for just the mountain would have equalized the light better. Anyway, images such as this are really hard to get the right balance of light. |

A Classy Lens For Your Old SLRby sumskater41Comment: Color balance seems to orangy. Also, it looks like you tried focusing on the bottom of the lens, but the eyes are first drawn to the top OM-System tag, which is very soft. I would adjust the focus to go where the eyes are drawn first, since it makes the entire image look oof. |

Stillness Withinby LaMasComment: Found the shawl to be distracting near the top, and focus is way off. Lighting for texture would have been better. Light to the right, higher than camera height and reflector (tinfoil can be used) needs to be played with to cast just the right amount of light to catch the texture of the fabric. |

Lightingby redpandaComment: Overall the image seems very out of balance with lighting as well as badly toned. did you use tungsten setting, or flash? White balance is definitely off and there is some distracting flares in the image. |

Superstar!by BrielleComment: LIghting is very flat and background is too bright. One way to get a neutral gray background to highlight the subject without overwhelming it is to shine a light on the background from right or left, and place a handkerchief or other diffuser over the light so it will soften the light. |
