This image almost hits the "mark". I think it is printed to dark as I can not see detail in the hair. I and can not tell what she is holding. I think you have the makings of a good image here but you need to do a little more work.

I am struggleing with this image becuase I like the photo very much, but I don't see a visual relationship to the chellenge theme. If I were to rate the photo on its image impact that is left to my imagination I would rate it above average, I like the print quality therefore I would rate that above average as well...Subject matter in relation to the contest theme I would rate very low. (I always prefer the image to tell me what it is about rather than the photographer telling me in writing) My rating for this image needs to put all these elements together so myscore is what it is.

Nice photo though and I would love to see more.

I have noticed several photos that I have seen have very unnatural demensions to them....this one seems a bit compressed in relation to its width. I think the photo would be easier to look at if the proportions were similar to a 35mm neg. The way the photo is presented here make me feel like I am missing something.....
