You cropped this a little too closely for a rule of 1/3's. It loks to me as if the man is really more on the 1/4 line. It's a good idea thought.

Good tones and great texture on the water, but the girl seems to be on the 1/4 line not the 1/3 line. She's sort of falling out of the picture.

Creative use of household objects. I wonder if you could have cropped out the lower portion of the picture to get rid of the shadow.
