Sparkler!

Sparkler!

Comment:
I love these kind of shots. Maybe the effect could have been a little more interesting if the sparkler holder weaved through the trees in a different direction (like from your position to straight ahead weaving around) to create a stronger sense of depth to take advantage of all those trees :]

I love the lighting on the building and the long exposure effect. Maybe a little less foreground (maybe crop a bit off the bottom?) would help draw even more attention to it?

Very interesting use of what seems to be HDR (or tone mapping?) and a fisheye point of view. I'm not sure if the processing is a bit too much for my tastes, but it's definately a new take on your typical fireworks shot.

I love the foggy atmosphere, but alas, I see no fireworks, so this technically does not meet the challenge :[

Very nice studio work. I think I would like it a bit better if say, the bottom hald was cropped off, because the legs seem a little awkward to me for some unknown reason. That and the wrinkles in the fabric.

I like the brown tones, and the lines of the image.

Very nice wildlife scene, but I wish the quality was a little bit better. To me it seems you might have cropped very close, thus decreasing the detail and sharpness of the image.

Great detail and personality you've captured here. I think it could benefit from a VERY slightly wider crop and a bit more contrast though, maybe even some selective brightness/contrast boosting in the eyes to bring them out more. Good luck in the challenge :]

This is a nice still life. I think it might have had stronger impact if your cropped the lower half of the image out, but that's just me.

I have to salute you on your good timing here, but this just screams snapshot to me. Next time, try to forego that flash and take a couple steps back.
