This could be technially very challenging to obtain - it just does not come across as a photo that captures the essence of "late night", or as an interesting photo in its own right.

Not sure this really works - over exposed police sign and all a bit murky otherwise. Not very "late night" feel to it. Very flat focal length - might be better with different lighting, and a bit more "action!"!

I really like this shot - my vote for a winner. I like the way in which you have removed the yellow colour cast that I would normally expect to see from these types of lamps. Has made me think of a coupe of streets near me that would be worth shooting.

This was my highest rated pic - I love the tonality. I take my hat off to you: your image captures minimalism fantastically. You took it in the same area as I took my pic, though I never thought to use the stairs (I just liked the plain granite as a background). I had kind of guessed that it must be you (esp. since you mentioned that you often walking around this area with your camera). Unlucky not to have ribboned, but well done!

great pic - but the focal point is not clear - the figures are slightly out of focus/unsharp. Have to mark down slightly, as this is essential part of the challenge, for me.
