A long way out

Impressive zoom. Seems to be so good that it takes you hundreds of miles backwards... I will be very impressed if this is not a DQ - will vote assuming that it is a valid photo from a secret mission that has taken you off planet, further away than the International Space Station, or that you have used a remote probe to capture this. Though that does seem unlikely...

I liked this photo a lot - very surprised to see it place so low. Underrated - the flash was a distraction, but should not have been critical to this great capture. The unprocessed look of this photograph shone through for me. However, in advanced editing challenges, I suppose that people expect any distractions to be cloned out. Cheers.

really like this - a familiar sight on the way home from the West End! only the slight over exposure of the headlights and chez victor sign area stops me awarding higher. slightly more underexposure could have caught the movement and detail, without losing the detail, and by pushing contrast and brightness, could have gotten a slightly more detailed image in those areas.

Very pretty and tehnically very competent image. LHS seems a bit distracting - lights and foliage - wnder is a square crop might have worked, taking out that area of confusion.

centred and colourful. Some artefacts present, and ultimately a picture that says "waffle house" to me more than "late night".

bit small, dark, missing a focal point other than the door: that is very small and ultimately not interesting enough to hold attention for very long. Lots of distractions on LHS.
