Dogzillaby scalvertComment: Great idea. Did you take photo of dog throught strips cut out from photo? Trying to work it out. Only criticism is DoF on dog is very different to that of the foreground, making it obviously a composition of two elements. |

A simple dislocationby graphicfunkComment: Very nice - presume double exposure in dark with two lights/flashes. Clever and appropriate, and technically very sound. |

Secret Garden by BobsterLobsterComment: Excellent use of selective desat - one of the few occasions I have seen it done well and appropriately. |

Up looking downby jjbeguinComment: Cannot decide if this is perhaps too busy. Strong central element may not have needed so much in the surrounding area. Still like a lot. |

Be Careful Now, Big Brother is Watching Youby flip89Comment: I have taken a shot of City Point in London that looks very similar to this. Should have thought to retake it, as I like this. Only criticisms are slight tilt to the right and slight lack of detail, but very hard to achieve on 640 x640. Might have retained detail by losing the unnecessary frame and slightly tighter crop. |

You go first!by 2ShayComment: normally I am immune to cuteness - I will make an exception here. Great choice if subject and composition. background is a tiny bit distracting - overexposed and too much detail. Slightly too much detail in foreground. Think that a small DoF would have worked wonders here. I still like a lot. |

Inside the Bluesby cparlierComment: imprinting the date is a sure fire way of losing many votes - shame, as it is an interesting (if slightly soft) image. |

A long way outby zarniwoopComment: Impressive zoom. Seems to be so good that it takes you hundreds of miles backwards... I will be very impressed if this is not a DQ - will vote assuming that it is a valid photo from a secret mission that has taken you off planet, further away than the International Space Station, or that you have used a remote probe to capture this. Though that does seem unlikely... |
