Very nice shot. I like the B/W and your use of perspective is good. You might consider "straightening" the horizon on this shot - but you may have offset it on purpose for artistic purposes - it's difficult to tell. Nice job.

Yummy, delicious, and excellent textures. The highlights are a little bright in the butter and the very colorful background may be a tad distracting, but tough to take much off for anything in this shot. Nice composition too. 8

Nice composition and colors. The DOF and sharpness are not quite as good as they could be. Lighting also a bit harsh. Looks like a beautiful spot. Very unusual entry too - stands out nicely. Overall good job.

This is really gross, but I have to admit it's a pretty good shot. :-) I think the crop is a little tight though - IMHO I'd like to see the whole apple and the snout. This certainly meets the challenge criteria (eewww). LOL Really nice detail and DOF, but the lighting is pretty harsh on the top. All in all, a pretty good entry. Nice work (and certainly unique!). 6

Very cool shot - Love the crop. I do with the colors were a little deeper - the lighting seems to have washed out the shot IMHO, causing some hotspots. Still a very creative entry. Nice job. Bumping up.

Amazingly sharp shot, although the bird almost looks like it's been copied and pasted there. For whatever reason, it doesn't look entirely natural (maybe too small, too crisp, I don't know). I'm sure I'm probably wrong, so am not deducting for it - just sharing my opinion. Nice greens in the background and wood tones. Really good job.

Really surprised this is the only porcupine in the challenge. But if they had seen this one, they probably would have questioned whether or not it could be topped. Beautiful job. Bumping from 9 to 10.
