Magnificent shot - can't believe you even got a rainbow in it - LOL! Perfectly meets the challenge. Thank you for following the challenge rules. Perfect clarity, lighting, composition, color. Outstanding. 10 |

Beast of the Marshby Canadian_ehComment: LOL @ your explanation of getting the shot. I like this a lot. The feather in the frog's mouth is really great. The DOF, sharpness, and composition are all good. I'm surprised this didn't do better in the challenge (although 5.2 ain't bad in that challenge!). Nice work (and hope you've recovered from your swim...) ;-) |

sandhill craneby dragonladyComment: Beautiful detail and pose. (I love birds and couldn't find this shot at first, as it's the representative shot of your Animals portfolio.) I remember this shot from the challenge - and gave it a 7. My biggest issue is that the highlights on the neck are a little blown out, otherwise, great shot. |

Dscf0071_dpc_no_edit.jpgby JeremyFleuryComment: These are great looking geese, but the fact that they are so far away and the business of the grass are real distractions. You've obviously got some good detail here, I would suggest cropping much closer and bringing up the color and contrast. Just my 2 cents... |

2005_0717_071231AA_dpc.JPGby JeremyFleuryComment: Great capture! We've got fawns and deer everywhere around where I live (probably see 10/day), but I just can't seem to get close enough for a good shot! LOL I agree that the crop is a little tight and it does look just a tad (very very small amount) overprocessed, but you've got great detail and I like the basic composition. Nice job. |
