This shot is soo good. Perfect crop & composition. The blown out highlights on the right aren't even a distraction (although the title is a bit long). By far, the best horseshoe shot (and one of the best shots in the challenge).

This is one of those shots that takes a little study to fully appreciate. I love the antique tones and feel. Great focus & DOF (albeit not the normal type that you see here). This shot works so well - I'm instantly transported to another place and time - and I feel like I'm right there smelling the breeze off the water. Hauntingly powerful shot. Kudos...

Beautiful lines and composition. I like the tones too. At first I didn't like the DOF and the fact that the front of the shoes weren't crisply in focus, but it's grown on me and now I think it wouldn't look right any other way. Great job!

This is so clever and original. I love it! My only minor complaint (and yes, I know it's because of DOF) is that the top shoe isn't as in focus as the other two are - they're so crisp. Perfect crop and color/lighting. Really a brilliant shot.
