First let me say that I think this is a stunningly beautiful shot. I think your score suffered though because many viewers probably didn't think it was high contrast enough.

Composition:
Very nice. I think the only slightly off-centered placement works well here. I think the border is okay - doesn't really add or detract from the image IMHO.

Focus/DOF:
Good, but not quite tack sharp (which isn't necessary, but I don't think this is quite soft focus either). I like the DOF.

Color:
Very natural muted tones which are beautiful, but not really high contrast. If this had been in a different challenge, I'm sure that it would have scored much higher.

Overall:
A very visually appealing shot with nice warm tones. May have missed the challenge theme a bit, but you ended up with a gorgeous shot! :-)

Great focus and composition. I like the selective desat too, but the red is a little understated for my taste. As a Southerner myself, I love tomato sandwiches and had several from my own garden! :-) Very nice photo.
