Flower Abstractionby RikkiComment: I like the fluid movement, but agree with the oversaturation comments. I also think that the green tones should be edited. I like the effect created by the glass. Nice job stepping out on that ledge... ;-) |

The Lookby RikkiComment: I am NOT a cat person, but there's something about the blue eyes of this cat that are really appealing. Beautiful coat too - although the PP edges are evident and a slight distraction. Still, have to give you props for that killer "look" - you're right, she's got it! |

Tight Squeezeby RikkiComment: I got the theme connection right away and thought it was very clever. BTW, I scored it a 6. The reasons I didn't score it higher were technical: a few blown highlights, awkward composition/fluidity, and focus/DOF. You had a great idea and good presentation, I just think it could have been done a little better. :-) |

Gothic Ceiling IIby RikkiComment: Stunning... Beautiful curves and love the detailed nuggets of treasure at the top of the shot for following the map of lines through the image. Excellent eye for composition. |

Vineyard Tryptychby RikkiComment: Holy cow! This is GORGEOUS! Why aren't you holding this back for the Triptych challenge? (Unless you have one killer entry in the wings...)
Damn Rikki, this is sweet! The grapes in the 3rd block are a tad overexposed, but otherwise, love it. |

I can do thisby moondogComment: I remember sitting on the tractor as a young boy myself and grinning from ear to ear too! I learned how to drive on a tractor (at 10 or 11 I think) - unless you count lawnmowers! Wonderfully captured moment. I think the sun actually adds to the shot. |

maypop.jpgby moondogComment: Wow... That looks more like a party favor than a flower (and I live in the south!). Good focus/DOF and I think the centered composition works okay because it is such an unusual subject. You might consider burning a bit to deepen some of the tones to get richer colors. Cool shot. |

"There, but for the grace of God, go I," says the Pumpkin!by tpocComment: I like the lighting and the deep rich color tones. Have to admit though, the challenge theme connection was a stretch for me - I scored it a 5. Focus is a tad soft and I think the composition is a little top heavy, but still a solid stock shot. |

Good Morning Sunshine!by tpocComment: I really like the tilted angle and the soft focus you used here. I'm sure she really likes this shot, as it looks like it captures her personality. Nice job. |
