Grass Seedby cornettcagComment: Nice lighting control and I like the natural green tones. Something about the composition seems a hair off to me, but I can't quite put my finger on it - I think it almost seems too "centered" to me. Of course, that's a just a personal preference. The focus & DOF are both quite good. |

Llama, Llama, Llama (No Cheesecake)by Mr_PantsComment: Scored this a 7 during the challenge. I love llamas (we used to raise them when I was growing up), but boy are they tempermental! Great series of expressions and poses. The lighting is a tad harsh, but I'm grasping at straws... Terrific job. |

Two Shellsby cornettcagComment: Absolutely spectacular shot! This couldn't be any sharper and the lighting is perfect. Love the natural rich color tones and the blue background was a very good choice. Excellent work. |

Pineappleby Mr_PantsComment: Very interesting and visually appealing textures, patterns, & color tones. Great focus too. I instantly thought of a field of pumpkins when I saw this shot - funny how some things come to mind. Certainly has a very "autumn" feel to it. Nice shot. |

Zoo Cat.jpgby cornettcagComment: I like the height of this crop - the vine/root really draws the viewer's eye right through the image & to the cat. The background is a little distracting, in that it seems a bit too bright - not sure if you could burn it or blur it to reduce some of the glare. Great shot though - especially through glass (not an easy thing to do)! |

For The Fallenby Mr_PantsComment: Love the perspective in this shot and the sky is killer (no pun intended). Congrats on your 16th place finish! The only thing that seems a little off to me in this shot is that the foreground and trees all seem to be a little paler/washed out compared to the deep tones of the monument and sky. It's probably an artistic choice you made during processing to emphasize the two (and it was obviously effective), but I just noticed a difference. Very nice work. |

Fantastic Compositionby Mr_PantsComment: Beautiful shot... Love how the flowers literally fill the frame, yet don't seem crowded. Very nice work. |

Spot-the-Cheetah.jpgby Mr_PantsComment: Great camouflage - How did you spot it?!? LOL I like the composition as it is. It gives the viewer a sense of the natural environs of the animal. Good capture. |
