The God Complexby alfrescoComment: I wasn't crazy about this shot at first, but I've come back to it a number of times now and it's grown on me. It was the motion blur that bothered me, but I've gotten past that now and have accepted the fact that it actually adds to the image. The sunset and everything else is stunning. Well done. (It may take me a while, but eventually I come around!) ;-) |

Anglesby alfrescoComment: Simple, pleasing subject matter, terrific tones & textures, great lines, good use of lighting... Okay - good shot. ;-) |

Dreams: The Unknownby alfrescoComment: What a totally bizzare and eerie image - especially after reading the location. The seemingly random "portals" and utter darkness surrounding them is really quite disturbing. Another powerful shot. |

No Talkingby alfrescoComment: I think I like this version better than the other one. The negative image in the window really adds a lot IMHO (both subjectively and symbolically). Powerful image. |

Spring IIby alfrescoComment: What an unusual flower/seed pod. And the mood you've established is very somber with all the dark tones and the stark nature & lighting of the subject. Very nice comp. |

Looking Upby alfrescoComment: Very cool! Definitely may have to "borrow" this idea... ;-) I must say, you pulled it off quite well. How many takes? Great POV. |

No Talking IIby alfrescoComment: Spooky shot. The unreal color tones really add to the haunting image. Well seen & captured. |

US Civil War: Battle at Antietam Creek - Link to My Ancestorsby novaComment: Great leading lines in this shot and I think it works very well in B/W. I probably would have bumped up the contrast a bit and done some dodging/burning (if it were advanced editing) - but then again I tend to overdo both of those things! LOL Great capture. |

Lesley & Abbyby SandyPComment: Great expressions and I love the tones. Almost looks like too much Neat Image (but not sure - can't decide whether I like the ultra smooth look here or not). Terrific crop/composition. You certainly have a gift for capturing a special moment. |
