Three in a Rowby sherpetComment: Lovely color and focus on these three. I agree about the background and shadows. You could try cloning the shadows out (I did it on some of my clown SPs) - it's a pain in the ***, but I was surprised at how much better it looks when it's done. ;-) It's a great shot as is, so either way you win. |

Purple Fanby sherpetComment: Ya know, I think I prefer this to the negative version. Not exactly sure why, but believe it or not this seems more "natural". LOL! The lines are still great, but the color tones here seem to flow a bit better and are more soothing to my eyes (of course, I'm a big purple fan anyway - pun intended)! Great job! |

"Got Seed?"by ShutterPugComment: PRICELESS!!! What a capture! Caught in the act! HA! They're hell on feeders aren't they? We go through several every year. (They killed 5 black bears during bear season on Purgatory Mountain last year - one was over 450 lbs.) I like your choice of editing too - gives it an old world flavor that works well. I can see this hanging in a log cabin or house in the country. Well done!! |

room with a view.jpgby margiemuComment: Great eye for spotting this and capturing it so well! Terrific composition and execution. Beautiful job. This would have scored very well with me in the right challenge (i.e., window, frame, view, etc.). |

trying for an easter pic.jpgby margiemuComment: Funny shot! The bright light is a bit of a distraction, but I think you could probably tone it down a bit in PP with some curves/levels adjustment and/or some selective burning. I've also had some luck using semi-transparent layers of much darker versions to tone down the hues (you can use the transparency brush to get rid of the areas you don't want - or just cut & paste). ANyway, it's a VERY cute capture and certainly a great addition to any family album. :-) |

Reflectionby UNTITLEDComment: Spectacular reflection - amazing clarity & colors. Really great capture! I kinda agree with stdavidson though and wonder how it would have scored if it had been flipped 180 degrees. It's wonderful either way. Well done. |

IMG_0069DeadBirdWEB.jpgby ShutterPugComment: Makes me think of the old Eddie Murphy stand up routine... "Dead bird. Gonna put it on you. Gonna put it on you! AAAAAUUUUGGGHHHH!" (Dating myself with that one - HA!)
I like the color tones. Poor little guy. :-( |
