I like the pose and the backdrop. I think you've probably used a filter or two on this (to create more of a painterly effect). I think it may be fighting with the focus for dominance here. Just my 2 cents, but I'd probably go further in either direction - more painterly feel or skip the filter and go for focus. Still a good shot and the emotion comes through strongly.

Great lighting and exposure here. Very good focus too. I keep vascillating about the partial desat - it really struck me as terrific at first. Very interesting and thought-provoking treatment. I like it.
