Nice! Love the comp and soft lighting. There's a little noise, but it doesn't detract from the overall effect. Everything is soft and very "portrait"-like. I'd probably pump up the whites in the eyes to create more drama (but I'm a drama king/queen, so there you have it!). ;-)

I've got mixed emotions about the misty lighting here, but it does create a mood. Good comp. The tones are a little red for my taste and I think you could probably increase the contrast & visibility with a little more d&b (but I tend to overdo that sort of thing anyway). Overall I do like it... ;-)

Great capture - and good editing! The lighting on the ball is a tad different than on your face, but that's the only thing that gives it away. If you had rotated the ball just a bit more to the left, it would have matched the lighting in the rest of the shot more closely. But to be honest, I only noticed this after reading your description! ;-) Good stuff (and love the Cavaliers shirt!)!

Good work on getting the whites of the eyes to stand out and make the "darker" portions of your face more acceptable. Definitely "dark & moody", and very well done.
