8 - Sunset Silhouette by BudComment: Reminds me of a time when I was in Ecuador. We had been out on the Tiputini River and hiking through the rainforest. On the way back to camp the sun was just going down and while I looked over the trees and to the sky I had this feeling, "what a nice ending to a great day". This photo has that feel to it.

Sand Harbor, Lake Tahoeby jdannelsComment: Whew. What an impact that had. When I first looked at I had the feeling of being swept through the boulders. Kind of like being caught in a current. I think it was due to the direction of the cloud and water movement and the solidness of the boulders, and the closeness of the boulder on the right. I like the contrast between the round, solid boulders and the water/sky. The repeating rocks in the BG add interest. |

Light Studyby doc_gonzoComment: Very cool capture. Nice use of light, textures and the cuteness of little kids.

The Weary Travelerby doc_gonzoComment: I can't tell you how many times I have been on work travel and felt just like this picture shows. Very good capture of a long hard and perhaps tedious day of work just to come back to an empty hotel room.
I didn't notice the vignetting until I just read nikolaos' comment. What I did notice was a darkness surrounding the mood depicted by the photo. |

Coveredby doc_gonzoComment: Man I hate passageways like this. they make me feel vulnerable instead of protected. My first impression was, man that's a long way down there. The slats down the right side and across the top make an interesting texture here. Hey and there's a light at the end of the tunnel. |

03 Caitlinby SandyPComment: She does look a little blah. Love the textures and the transition of light to dark but where's the grunge?

Week 6: Vigilby muz64Comment: Kangaroos are one of the coolest looking animals and you have a nice capture of this guy. You must have been able to get fairly close even with all of them standing guard like that. |

World's Fair Pavilionby trevytrevComment: From the thumbnail I thought I was opening a cloud shot and was surprised when this popped up. First impression was Wow. I like the contrasty-ness of this photo. The square/blocky symmetry in the lower half works as a contrast to the wispy clouds. I like it quite a bit but I don't see it as a photo of the pavilion.
