Mountain Passby TCGuruComment: What I think is missing in your image is midtones. If you look at the histogram, you have a lot of darks and a lot of lights, but not much in between. that works, in this case, to keep people out of the image. I pulled the image into photoshop and did a quick shadow/highlight to strengthen the midtones. It may not be what you were after, but I think it would have scored higher with the DPC voters. Image |

Making Woodyby photodudeComment: I don't think it was the prude factor, I think it was the color cast. I took it into photoshop and balanced the white and the image really popped. I didn't vote on this challenge but I think its a great shot otherwise. |

Reaching to Touchby hesamComment: I think the lighting and background work well here but there is too much competing with subject for attention on the right. |

September Museby wildirisComment: Cute guy. Excellent color choice for background. Sharpness and DOF are prefect for subject.8 |

Crackinby StarbananaComment: Nice subject study. Frame has a strange color shift on the right but it is well focused. |

Stapiby skariComment: The lighting on the rock doesn't match the lighting in the sky. Most people probably won't notice. |

A Long Ride Homeby geinafetsComment: Strange looking dude. I love the composition and the tones but I think you over did it on the eye which is why he looks a little psychotic. |
