The Tacktics of Chaosby Bear_MusicComment: Wow. Shiny. But there are no TACKS in this image! ;) I think it may have been improved if the tacks were blue or red - the clear somehow gets lost. Was this converted to B&W? Nice job with the focus and the tonal range. 7 from me! |

Balanceby LowLghtComment: Wow. How'd you do that? There are no TACKS in this image! ;) Red and white - crisp and clean. Maybe a little over sharpened. They kind of float there - I wish there was something to 'hold them down.' Interesting shot - 6 for balancing on the head of a tack. |

Drop on a tackby lastefComment: Hey - I've seen this before! Wait - that was a branch. There are no TACKS in this image! ;) Good choice using a blue tack - greeny would have been tacky. Good DOF for a macro shot. Good originality. 8 because I want to. When is the drop going to fall? I can't wait any longer! |

Primary Tackby ladpupmoeComment: There are no TACKS in this image! ;) Actually I think this is a pretty cool image. Its a macro with a good DOF. POV and colors are good. And you managed to balance the tack - no easy feat. 8 for a clear well planned image. |

OUCH!!!!!by benhurComment: Euw! There is only one TACK in this image! ;) The drippy blood stuff looks really fake. Almost like it was post edited in. Pretty grusome though. I will give you a 5 because you tried to gross me out! |

In a Pinch ?by soupComment: Ouch. I know you had to put a little pressure on the tips to get them to stay and too much pressure and they go flying so a good balance. But, there are no TACKS in this image! ;) The green background works well here. Your DOF and point of view are good. 7 from me! |

Orangeby bucketComment: Cool! I was going to do this! But I was using REAL tacks so the final result was not as good. ;) I like what you used for a background. Can't remember what its called but it provides great texture here. Competes a little with the tacks, but the color works beautifully with the orange. Centered composition - many would say its a no-no. Forget them - the real rule is that a composition needs to be balanced. You achieve that with your color choice. Also, people believe center compositions don't provide tension. Again, yours is in the color and texture choices you made. I like it. Its hard to make tacks interesting. 9 for your use of color and comp. Focus and DOF and POV great, BTW. |
