Very flattering shot. If you keep the flowers, maybe blurring the background will keep it from being distracting. I think the lighting worked to accent her face. Its amazing how good unprocessed shots can be!

Interesting take on the challenge. While I really like the idea/concept I'm not too hot on its execution here. There is so much empty flat green space. I think, if the green were a better, maybe lusher, shade of green it would help. Placement of the shadows is good but having the balls a little more spread over the lawn might improve it. This would be an image to revisit to try to improve the lighting or the composition as the concept is excellent. 5 Good luck in the challenge!

Interesting take on the challenge. While I know you didn't have a choice, a flat background of maybe a darker colour would have improved this shot - it would have really contrasted nicely with the instruments.

While I love the background on this image, I feel the subject/statue is kind of flat/static. The image touches on the challenge theme but does not 'scream' family to me. Overall, 6 - good luck in the challenge!
