For a basic challenge, this is incredible. I think what really makes this image 10 worthy is the lighting - you got there at the perfect time of day. The sky is a little green but I'm overlooking that as it really isn't that noticible. The texture shines through very well. The POV and composition are excellent. Good luck in the challenge!

gotta be Iceland. :) I think what makes this image is the inclusion of a person. Doesn't hurt that the tones were excellently rendered, the DOF and Focus dead on and the POV perfect. I can overlook the spots (clean your camera!) as this is a basic challenge. Excellent job! 10- goodluck in the challenge!

Its hard to distinguish your bug from the background but there is definitely texture there! I would have cropped out the left side a little - it doesn't add anything but empty space tot he image. Good details in the center. Good luck in the challenge!
