September 12, 2001by GeneralEComment: regardless of whether this was taken on that date, the title, combined with the image, is very powerful. Kind of a 'life goes on on the other side of a tragedy' type thing. Wish it was a little sharper, but that may add some emotion to the image so I hesitate to suggest it. Boys will be boys - very poignant. I remember exactly what I was doing on that date - its a strange thing, memories... 10 |

The Pinnacleby MAKComment: beautiful tones and lighting push this to the top. excellent focus, dof, and point of view. well done 10 Just had to stop by again. He looks so old, cold, awkward and ready to meet the work. And your tonal conversion is amazing. added to favs. |

Silenceby OllyDComment: I like the colors, shapes, and lines of this image. I like that I can see the foreground to get 'into' the image. 7 |

Come On Down by NICKAPRICEComment: I think this image would be cool without the tilt - it feels like a gimmick but, with the number of images submitted this way, it must be a new DPC trend. excellent processing to bring out the best of the image. |

Friend Says "Hello"by ForcetComment: really cool and closer than i ever want to see one of these. It could use a little shadow/highlight adjustment to brighten the bug, and a slight color adjustment to cool the yellow tones. "Zoom Lens" is visible in the background - a reflection - but no matter; it can be cloned out. 6 |

True tranquilityby bacaComment: good composition for subject. I wish the foreground was a little lighter/more discernible to allow me 'into' the image. |

A moment in time...by ScapeshotsComment: very bright blue - almost blinding. love the sharpness though - topaz? the central boat near the hill, for me, is the best part - it serves to anchor the entire image. well compsed and like the inclusion of the foreground elements to allow me into the water. 6 |
