the subject is mostly out of focus. but I don't see anything compelling about it - the missed focus does not enhance the image in any way. The subject itself is centered, drawing my attention (I give you credit for that) but it doesn't provide any interest or tension to keep me engaged. The spiderweb at the bottom is more interesting, and I wonder where the spider went. 5

Way too much going on to pay attention to the bird. It doesn't seem to matter that it is out of focus. It is also very centered with colors that seem lazy. 5 for attempt.

I think your tones are good, but your blacks and whites are not that strong. I rely on that because the subject itself gives me nothing to go on. 5

I like the lights and the darks but I really don't get any kind of mood or emotion out of this image which it seems to require as it is not really about a thing. Could be interesting if it wasn't so split in half. 5 for attempt.

I think, if the girls had NOT been at the rule of thirds line, you would have a much better chance of convincing people your intention was to photograph the rose. There is also too much else in focus to pull this off. 5 for attempting challenge.
