I find this photo offensive because you are insulting yourself. You do yourself no favors by doing so in a public forum. In terms of technical merit, your composition is different - my eyes keep moving to the torn corner of the paper. Your exposure settings need some work - the paper should be white, not grey. You might want to try experimenting with white balance?

The angle looks really odd - both buildings appear to be leaning in towards each other - more prominently on the left. Did you take this with the camera pointed upwards? While the capture of detail on the buildings is good, the sky and snow are over-exposed, and the trees are soft looking.

The top half of the photo looks just a little bit over-exposed to me - the white of the big boat and the boats in the backgroud is very bright. I'd prefer not to see the shoreline at the front as I feel it detracts from the photo. Good colors, focus, and composition otherwise.
