Asleepby vtruanComment: There isn't much yellow here, and I would call the legs "more orange" than yellow. Does not meet the challenge well. Good eye for catching this scene. White chests look over-exposed, causing loss of feather detail. |

Path to heavenby bmarquezComment: The lighting is too harsh and bright. Would prefer softer lighting. Did you try capturing this at different times of the day? |

Snow Tree at Nightby pauldComment: Very nice photo - great capture of detail. However, this is orange, not yellow, so does not meet the challenge.. |

Blue In Yellow Bucketby SlimharpoComment: Due to light reflection back towards the camera, the photo seems out of focus. The blue chips seem especially soft. |

Peek a Boo!by mcraelComment: Thanks to all who commented. Your comments are appreciated. For those of you who did not like my props or the shadows - the shadows are deliberate. While it wasn't my intention, I think the "distracting" shadow served a purpose in making my Waldo "not so obvious." I was surprised that some voters had difficulty locating my Waldo.
The mason jar is an antique collectible, and highly desirable in the area where I live. Mason jars of this type are often used as flower vases for country decor (or so I thought).
To each his own, I guess, but I am pleased with how well the photo performed in this challenge. Message edited by author 2003-02-23 12:29:40. |

When life gives you lemons...by RefractedComment: The light on the cut lemon is just a little too bright. If it wasn't reflecting, I would be able to see the segments. Good color and composition. |

Bannanaby abh1Comment: Would prefer deeper focus. The front of the banana is in focus, the top is not, and flaring a little. I would also prefer the fruit in back to be in focus as well. |

Houseworkby muckpondComment: Do women still do that? I don't. Great photo - made me laugh when it appeared. I love the yellow wall! |

A little Sunshineby WILDBLUEComment: Refreshing composition, and good focus on the center. I would prefer more focus on the petals - but that's me. Flaring in the bottom center is distracting. |

Alone in the Light by indigo997Comment: Very beautiful. The red at the bottom of the tulip looks almost like curling flames. Good lighting. |
