I almost missed the parallel line in the curve of the shadow and waist. The door handles don't do it for me though - not enough parallel there to qualify, therefore distracting.

If there are any parallel lines in this photo, they are much too subtle for this challenge. You'll lose marks for that. Nonetheless, composition and exposure are good.

This is a very powerful image - the eyes are so expressive! Great concept and nice execution. At first look, I didn't like the harsh lighting, but now I think that it assists the emotional impact of this photo. This would have been a great entry for the Conflict challenge. I hear the voices yelling (therefore, detracts from the silence theme), but at the same time I feel the struggle to remain silent.

Texture detail, and arrangement of the cereal biscuits to create an interesting composition are nicely done. Good color too, but the lighting seems harsh.

There is no sense of texture in this photo. Even the smoothness of the silk is not conveyed that well.

It's a nice capture in three kinds of texture - the hat, the carpet, and the wood grain (which is more pattern than texture). Would prefer more brightness and contrast in this photo.

I like the really smooth texture of the water, and the color patterns in the ripples. Not sure I like the composition though, as I find the detail at the right detracts from the cosmetic appeal of this photo.
