If you moved the sink outside just for the photo, you were on the right track, but your result just looks like a child playing outside in a backyard. Now if she was cutting up a lobster with a hammer and had her face painted like a wild indian, while wearing 20 foot stilts, and had the sink filled with milk and metal bolts, you might have surrealism. Know what I mean? Dreamlike.

This reminds me more of cubism, or abstract. Nice shot however. Actually, the more I look at this, the more I love it. I want to give this a 10 so bad, but I just don't think it met the challenge.
