This is simply a well taken still life. Colors, sharpness, positioning, lighting and DOF are right on. The only negative in comparison with some of the other shots is that it is not terribly original or interesting but I don't think you were going for that. I think you were just trying to take the best technically possible shot you could and you have succeeded.

This is a neat picture. Looks like a painting. I like the soft colors and the slightly out of focus appearence. I could definitely see this hanging on the wall. Nice shot and post processing.

I really like this shot. A father with his sons. Strikes to the heart as I have 2 sons also. A father can really feel the emotion of this picture. Only one criticism. I would have cropped out the electrical pole and wires on the right side. Otherwise a charming shot.

Golden Light

The soft lighting and pose of the monkeys almost looks like a painting. The mother looks like she is looking with a knowing gaze while the baby has somewhat of a quizzical look. Excellent setup and interesting picture. Good job.

Naughty .... but nice

I like the way the subject that you are focused on is off center in the picture but I would like to see a deeper DOF and maybe a little more color in the strawberry. Otherwise a very pleasing picture.

Nice image. I like the way the light plays on the pattern of the hot air balloon and the ground. I am wondering how it would look if you could crop it in to get a little better image of the 2 people in the balloon.
