Wow! Thank you for the 10 and your very kind comment. Just lucky to be at the right place at the right time. I had been hoping a hummer would show up at this flower as it stood above a patch of wildflowers I had planted. I had been periodically looking at it and know the hummers are most hungry in the morning. The sun was coming up and cast the perfect light on the backround. The bee was a bonus! |

Under a foggy skyby wildirisComment: Wonderful composition. Even though he is so small the person is a major element in the picture but doesn̢۪t take away from the beautiful sunset. My favorite in the challenge. |

Lift-off, we have lift-offby AmmieComment: So much potential here if only you had edited out the branches. I really like how the mountain is almost pointing at the setting sun. The colors are great. |

Mini 'Me' by rozComment: He is amazing. It̢۪s like he is one of those bendable toys and you just prop him anywhere and he stays! My dog would be hiding under the bed! Great shot and definitely meets the challenge. |

Male And Female American Goldfinchesby GolferDDSComment: Originally posted by Barroness: Wow, this is amazing and very beautiful and special. How long do you wait to match the birds to the flowers???
10 from me. |
Thank you! The gold finches love sunflower seeds so they are naturally drawn to the flowers. They seem to appear in the morning around 9 am and then periodically throughout the day. |
