A beautiful flower with excellent control of the DOF. I do not care for the background. It looks like you propped the flower up on your deck. A more colorful background outdoors would add a lot to this composition.

Amazing clarity even down to the whiskers on his/her chin! Love the colorful bokeh and how it glows around his body. I just want to go up to him and pet his head:)

I like the scene very much. Unfortunately the flowers are slightly out of focus and therefore makes it appear that they are not the “subject” of the composition. You would probably have scored much higher on your picture if it were entered in a different challenge.

That is an amazing picture. The processing throws me off a little. It seems you tried to make it look like a drawing. I think it was unnecessary. The interest of the picture stands on its own.
