The Power of Flourby LydiaComment: I really like the composition and setup. I am a little confused by the lighting. The yellowish tone suggests sunrise or sunset. If it is sunrise then I think muffins or some breakfast bread would be more appropriate. If it’s sunset than it just feels like it’s too late to be making bread unless you are just demonstrating the ingredients. Just my opinion:) |

Flying Flourby BeaubeauComment: A fun composition. I think i would like to see the flour coming out of the container in the upper left corner. Also, everything is coming down more or less in a straight line. I think it would be more whimsical to make the objects more random as they fall. Just a suggestion. |

candy..by ytshuvaComment: This is photographically interesting but seems a little over the top. What is the purpose of the flower on her lips? Did she kiss the candy? I like the effect of the flour movement with the blowing air. |

Shake it off by NeatComment: Nicely composed and descriptive. I can see this being used in a cook book or a magazine. |

ingredientsby tvsometimeComment: It’s a good idea. It satisfies the challenge. I think it would have been a better composition if you could have used a more realistic background. Maybe a large wooden bowl with a patterned tablecloth and some utensils to indicate what the vegetables are going to be used for. |

bugby skewsmeComment: I like the idea ( I love pictures of ladybugs (Asian beetles)). I would have suggested cropping a little tighter, trying to brighten the green in the background, and more DOF on the plant that the beetle is on. I realize that oftentimes these shots are controlled by nature! |
