Good idea to put salt out for them! I'm thinking I'll buy a bale of alfalfa in a few days and put it in the field. We're about to hit below digits and the powder snow will freeze, makeing it hard for the deer to paw for grass. They eat bark and pinecones this time of year mainly. Also...sorry to ramble, but it's illegal to feed the deer and I technically could be fined by our gamewarden, the same man that shot my hybrid wolves, but that's another story.

I tend to shy away from feeding anything except Hummingbirds! It's also hard to feed a forest. I had a few quail last week and I'm up to 2 dozen tonight. At 2 TBSP of seed per bird...it adds up fast. I've learned the hard lesson of survival of the fittest.

I don't like the top cut off either...I have another one I like better that shows the rooftop. I should have included that one, but the angle was off because I had to put the camera almost to the ground to take the photo.

A tighter crop of the top of the head would work wonders for this sweet clown face. This would place your eyes more on his eyes and less on his brown hair.

I know you made the lighting a sickening yellow to add to the effects and guess what? It works! Omg this is terrifying!!! Really good job. I can't get over the icky teeth and his eyes!!

lol...it is leaning, I rotated the one I submitted. It helps to use a tripod, but I don't much of the time.

Pushing Snow into the Corner Day 9

They don't use salt because of destablizing the salmon streams. They use some horrible cloride stuff that melts the snow and ruins your brakes. This year they decided against it probably because of the added expense, as the town is now having to pay to plow the newly put-in sidewalks. Small town, limited budget.

Plus, every other road in town is a deadend road. I had no idea why until I moved directly into town...they push the snow to the end of the road. duh

Twisp is 2 hours north of Wenatchee, 3 hours north of I-90. 5 hours east of Seattle and 2 hours south of Canada. 3 hours west of Spokane. The middle of nowhere, basically.
