Cute take on the challenge. I like the idea but the shot is a bit over exposed due to the bright sunshine. I'll also add that the reflection in the window also takes away. The over all idea is very clever.

Been there many times! Slippery place.
This is your best. Great focus. I would think a little bump of the white/levels would give this a punch. Still I do like this one and it could be used for a postcard.

Simple Elegance

Two things I see that need a bit of improvement. Focus..where is it? There really is not a center of focus here. Second we don't see the candles, their tops of chopped off. Your idea for the challenge and your find are very good. The white background is washing out your shot. Take a bit more time. I hope this is helpful to you.

I see your five's here! Lots of them. I do think the composition looks tossed together. It's a clock on a desk with marks, partial monitor. Take more time to set up your shots, crop them a bit tighter, be sure there aren't marks or dust, dirt in your shots. Hope this is helpful to you.
