I don't find this composition to be very powerful. We see a large apple with a big flash of light almost dead center. Also light flashes on the right of the big apple.Then the seed. None of which is really in focus.
I think you tried to cram too much into this shot. Watch the lights..they will ruin a shot because they distract from the subject. Your title, your idea was good. Don't stop the next one will be better.

this is all good but where is the focus? This is just not sharp, and they has to wonder around the shot. The blue floor is maybe not the best with the bright over head lighting.

I see this a mirror but the angle doesn't work for me ..it's awkward to look at. I do think your light is a bit weak and the main white of the apple is a bit grey looking.
Just my 2cents on this entry.
