? I've asked myself why and I think it's the pose along with the over all feeling this shot has. It's almost 'depression era' feeling. Whatever! I voted this the highest in the challenge. Everything about it works!!! Great job. |

It's a little light but I think having her wear a contrasting color, something darker would make that go away. To nit-pick= I say more light on her face and eyes. Other then that small detail if this was my child I'd be thrilled with the photo. Nice work. |

Your tones aren't bad and the light is pretty good.
I would like to see a different pose. I feel as if she's leaning back a bit, or your shooting from 3 feet below her nose level. I don't think that's bad, just my observation. Maybe more of head shot and less of a torso-head shot. |
